How does the AI generate domain names?
You describe what you're building in plain language. A large language model proposes brandable names across a spread of TLDs, then each candidate's live availability status is streamed as the check completes.
How is availability checked?
Primarily via RDAP (the registries' authoritative lookup protocol), with WHOIS for TLDs that need it and a conservative DNS fallback. Results are labelled available, possibly available, or taken; checkout must confirm the final status.
Which TLDs are supported?
More than 1,400 public TLDs are routed, including .com, .io, .dev, .app, .ai, .co, .shop, and .coffee. RDAP or WHOIS supports authoritative answers where available; DNS-only or inconclusive checks are labelled possibly available.
Can I refine the suggestions?
Yes. Follow-up messages keep context, so you can ask for shorter names, a different vibe, or a specific TLD and the results adapt.
Where can I register an available domain?
Choose Dynadot, Spaceship, Name.com, Namecheap, or NameSilo in the generator. The outbound link opens that registrar, which must confirm current availability, premium status, and price before purchase.
What does “possibly available” mean?
The registry lookup was unavailable or inconclusive, or the TLD only supports a DNS-based signal. That is not proof the name can be registered, so confirm it at a registrar before you commit.
Are the availability results guaranteed?
No. RDAP and WHOIS can provide authoritative status at the time of the check, while DNS-only or failed checks remain possibly available. Results can also become stale. Always confirm availability, premium status, and price at registrar checkout.
